Selection of realization partners

The selection of realization partners sets the course for the future success of the project. The client must be aware of this fact and prepare and carry out this phase accordingly. The associated processes must be comprehensively prepared and sufficient resources must be made available by the client.

At the beginning of the selection process, the client formulates the catalog of requirements for the planned building based on its strategic planning, taking into account the entire life cycle. He documents the resulting project objectives in his project specifications.

When the project alliance is initialized in very early project phases (e.g. after the preliminary study phase), the construction project is described functionally and the procurement procedure is triggered. This basically follows the procedure shown in the figure:
